Zero's New Song Issaqbaazi Is The Biggest Gift That Shah Rukh Could Have Given His Fans
Once in a while, in the life of every Bollywood lover, there comes a moment that gives you goosebumps and make your eyes moist. Zero's new song Issaqbaazi is one such moment. Directed by Anand .L. Rai, Zero might be one of the most awaited films of the year, but for every Shah Rukh Khan fan out there, this is an emotional moment.
After wowing us with dreamy romance in Mere Naam Tu, Issaqbaazi also brings the same amount of feels, just this time the feel is madness. Yes, it is the same song that was released as the first teaser of Zero on Eid. The song has all the trappings of a madcap chartbuster and is surely going to be hot favorite in all dance parties this holiday season and perhaps for a few more to come. Here are our takeaways from the super fun number.
Shah Rukh and Salman Together
Let us just take a moment and let this feeling sink in. For every Bollywood lover out there, this is a moment that can only evoke a feeling of exuberance. Shah Rukh and Salman shaking a leg together for 3 whole minutes is a treat that cannot be expressed in words. Trust me, we tried!
Ajay-Atul's Musical Grandeur
What Sanjay Leela Bhansali is to visuals, Ajay-Atul is to music. They simply bring an element of grandeur in the sounds they produce that you cannot help but be engulfed by. Fast, peppy, fun and oozing with desi swag, Issaqbaazi is going to be a chartbuster with a shadow of doubt and a staple on the dance floor. The song has also been sung by Atul Gogavale whose one of a kind voice has the ability to add such a unique texture to every song and this one is no different.
Added Surprise
As if Salman and Shah Rukh coming together was not enough to almost kill us with excitement, the song also features two of India's biggest choreographers, Remo D'Souza and Ganesh Acharya. To see these maestros dance on screen is a surprise we will forever be thankful for. Also, Shah Rukh Khan does Salman's signature towel move from 'Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din' in the song. Beat that!
Madness, Madness and Some More Madness
From the setting to lyrics of the song, it is an unapologetic and unabashed display of madness. The song comes at a point in the film when filmstar Babita Kumari plants a kiss on Bauua Singh's lips and the song is an expression of his happiness and utter exuberance. The lyrics, penned by Irshad Kamil, are almost too fast to recollect in the first hearing, but that further adds an element of fun.
Hidden Meanings
There is a part in the song where both Bauaa Singh and Salman Khan are talking about how much they love Katrina Kaif. Given the rumors of Salman, Katrina affair is catching wind again, it makes for a really tongue-in-cheek moment when the words kinda support that. Why do we have a feeling that the words are being sung by Bauua Singh for Babita Kumari and Salman is singing the same for Katrina Kaif. We sincerely hope we are right!
