Is This How Much Priyanka Chopra's Engagement Ring From Nick Jonas Costs?

For, it was due to Raveena that the world got its first good look at Priyanka Chopra’s engagement ring on Wednesday. And now, foreign media has lined up experts who have not only revealed the design of the Tiffany ring but its jaw-dropping cost also!

On Thursday, The Hollywood Reporter quoted gemologist and diamond expert Grant Mobley revealing all about Priyanka’s gorgeous engagement ring: “It is a timeless design and features a cushion-cut diamond set in platinum with what looks like small baguette diamonds on the sides.” He went on to add that as Tiffany’s diamonds are ethically sourced, they are among the best found in nature.

He saved the best for the last – the cost of the ring with which Nick Jonas popped the question to Priyanka. “A ring of this size and quality would cost around $300,000,” THR quoted him as saying. In Indian rupees, the cost of Priyanka’s ring comes to approximately Rs 2.1 crore.

Priyanka and Nick have exercised utmost secrecy around their engagement. It was only on Tuesday, almost a month after their engagement, that we got a first proper glimpse of Priyanka’s ring when the 36-year-old Quantico actress posed for an Instagram selfie with her arm around Raveena. She has been cautious in the past, taking off her ring every time she is in front of the paparazzi.

 It was earlier revealed that Priyanka and the 25-year-old singer shut down a Tiffany store to ensure the utmost privacy as they went looking for the perfect ring. Priyanka and Nick later celebrated with Joe Jonas and his fiancée Sophie Turner.

At an event in Delhi in August, Priyanka had refused to answer questions about her engagement. “My entire life—my personal life—is not for public consumption. Ninety percent of my life is for public consumption, but 10 percent is for me. I’m a girl; I have the right to keep that to myself,” she had said.

Priyanka and Nick had first sparked dating rumours when they walked the red carpet together at the 2017 Met Gala. The speculation really gained weight in May when they were spotted together in the US. A whirlwind visit to India later, the couple attended Nick’s family wedding together too. Priyanka was recently spotted jamming along as Nick performed in Singapore.
