Priyanka Chopra Starts Shooting For The Sky Is Pink, Shares Selfies With Zaira Wasim And Farhan Akhtar
Priyanka Chopra’s Hollywood project may have hit a roadblock but she seems excited about the future. She will begin shooting for the only Bollywood film she is currently part of, The Sky Is Pink, on Wednesday.
The actor took to Instagram to share the news and a few amazing selfies. “I’m so excited and happy about today. Some stories just need to be told. In the spirit of Aisha Chaudhry and her incredible parents Aditi and Niren we bring you our tentatively titled super special project The Sky is Pink. Going on floors today. God Speed,” she captioned a photo album shared on Wednesday morning.
In the photos, we see her with her co-stars, Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim, director Shonali Bose and producers Sidharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala. She also shared happy selfies with Zaira and Farhan.
Priyanka and Farhan play Zaira’s parents in the film. The film is based on Aisha Choudhary, a young motivational speaker who was diagnosed with immune deficiency disorder as an infant. She died at 19 years old.
Cowboy Ninja Viking, Priyanka’s upcoming Hollywood movie with Chris Pratt, has been pulled out from its release calendar by Universal Studios and the production has been delayed indefinitely. Priyanka signed the film after walking out of Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, 10 days before her portion of the shoot was to begin.
Priyanka also has Rebel Wilson’s Isn’t It Romantic in the pipeline. The film will release on February 14.
