Jennifer Lopez Shows Love For ‘Dil Dosti And Dance’ Star Shantanu Maheshwari And His Crew Desi Hoppers

Shantanu Maheshwari rose to fame with his character in Channel V’s show Dil Dosti and Dance. The actor-dancer became popular for his moves and has since only gotten better. He has his own crew, Desi Hoppers, who have a huge fan following. Now, this impressive dance crew has a new fan in popstar Jennifer Loper. That’s right! After seeing Desi Hoppers perform in the International show World Of Dance, on which she is a judge, Lopez was impressed.

She tweeted, “Love me some #desihoppers!! #indiaisinthehouse.” Shantanu’s crew won the first round with the highest scores and were given the permission to choose their opponent for the second dance battle, which they went on to win as well. Desi Hoppers is the first Indian crew to be a part of NBC’s global competition and they have impressed the judges and audience alike.

Desi Hoppers did a fusion of Hip Hop and Indian classical in one of the rounds, which had a butt-scratching movement that received thunderous applause and JLo tweeted about it too.

She wrote, “I dare someone to top it. Dare you. #worldofdance.” She went on record to state that it the first butt-scratch in the world of dance history.

The other judge of the show, Ne Yo also tweeted, “No one dances like @OffDesiHoppers...always gonna remember them.” The show is currently being aired and premiered on May 29.
