Rangayana Raghu To Make His Tulu Film Debut
With each passing year, the Tulu industry is developing sharply and is constantly working towards adding inventive features to its films. And to gain this thing, the makers are roping in Sandalwood personalities, which is one of the biggest highlights. The latest name to entertain the Tulu fray is acclaimed Sandalwood actor Rangayana Raghu.
Rangayana will soon be seen in the film My Name Is Annappa. The film is being helmed by Mayur Shetty and is tipped to be a mass entertainer. The director also talks about having Raghu in the film. “We wanted to bring Rangayana Raghu sir sooner to Tulu films. But we wanted to approach him only when we had a role befitting his status. He plays a music instructor in our film and it is one character that will elevate the movie to another level,” shares Mayur.
Years ago, Rangayana Raghu was seen in Paramatma and the makers loved the character he played in that flick. “His acting repertoire is admirable and that is something that will add a whole new flavour to our film. Raghu sir will also be speaking in Mangalurean slang, which is bound to pique the curiosity of the audience,” adds the director.
My Name Is Annappa will have the team of Pilibail Yamunakka including filmmaker Rohan Shetty and music director Kishore Kumar Shetty.
