Vivek Oberoi To Play A Villian Mohanlal's 'Lucifer'

Rumours were doing the rounds that Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi will be going to play the antagonist in a Malayalam movie. It has now been confirmed that Mohanlal starrer 'Lucifer' will see Vivek as Villian. This movie will mark Vivek’s debut in Malayalam cinema.

The actor has been featured in a Tamil movie titled 'Vivekam' starring Ajith. The news was announced by Mohanlal's close friend and producer, Antony Perumbavoor about casting Vivek Oberoi.  As per the reports, Manju Warrier will play the female lead in the movie, while 'Queen' fame Saniya Iyappan will play the role of Mohanlal's daughter.

Apart from this, it was confirmed by Prithviraj that Indrajith will also play an important role in the movie. Notably, Vivek and Mohanlal had previously worked together in the Bollywood movie ‘Company’ which was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Moreover, the shooting will commence by July 18 in Trivandrum and Mumbai and Kuttikkanam will be the main locations for the shoot.

Directed by Prithviraj, the movie is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Movies.
