Raj Kumar Hirani And Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju Should Release This Friday And Here Are The Reasons Why

It has been just a few days since the promo of Sanju went online. The very first time I saw it, there was a strong sense of exhilaration. I saw it once, twice, thrice, five times and then in a couple of hours, I had it on a repeat watch. Clearly, this is one promo that I have seen the maximum number of times in 2018 in the quickest possible duration. I am sure that in weeks to come, there would be a lot more that Raj Kumar Hirani would have up his sleeves for the audiences to check out before the film hits the screens. 

I guess all of that would be (and I hope this one doesn't come across as rather rude)..... unnecessary!

Yes, that's the truth actually. The makers could well decide to just leave any more marketing and promotion at this point itself and release the film straight in theaters.

The reason is simple - first, the teaser had done its job and now the promo has gone way far and beyond. With unanimous appreciation already coming its way and huge awareness been created, there is absolutely nothing else that is required to be told about Sanju.

In any case, it was in news ever since it was conceived. Then the fact that Raj Kumar Hirani was making it and that too in collaboration with Sanjay Dutt himself was a good enough reason to rejoice. Any further doubts around Ranbir Kapoor filling in Sanjay Dutt's big boots were laid to rest when the teaser came out. As a matter of fact, it was confirmed there and then that this film is on the path to be a Blockbuster no less.

However, once the stunning promo was out, it was clear that this one is a true entertainer in the making. After all, the film is coming across as a balanced account where Sanjay Dutt would be everything that you have heard, read or gossiped about. Whether it is his personal or professional life, everything ranging from black, grey or white is being projected in this silver screen account which should be good fun to watch.

Moreover, since Raj Kumar Hirani is at the helm of affairs, you know that certain sensibilities would certainly come into way. Ok, so personally I wasn't too fond of PK. However, when that film turned out to be a 340.80 crore net earner, clearly I am in minority!

As for Sanju, it is undoubtedly his most 'masala' film to date as it promises to go beyond the 'emotional appeal' that Hirani typically gets in his films. So there would be thrills, drama, action, music - just about everything coming together to detail around the roller coaster ride that Sanjay Dutt has enjoyed right through his lifetime. 

Yup, I am excited already. Can we have the film release this Friday?
