Did You Know Race 3 Will Mark Salman Khan's Debut Of Sorts As Well?

He can easily be called multifaceted. After all, Salman Khan hasn’t been just a superstar but also a writer, producer as well as a singer. Now, in the latest instance, we have learnt that the actor is set to turn distributor too, with his next release, Race 3.

“Come to think of it, business-wise, it’s a logical step by his company because Salman has produced a number of biggies till date including Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015). Now, with the latest step [of turning distributor], he will have a say and hold over the wide reach of films,” says a trade insider.

Apparently, Race 3 will be distributed by Salman’s production house, and his father, Salim Khan will personally look into the distribution aspect of the film. Interestingly, the superstar’s mother, Salma Khan is one of the producers of the film alongside Salman and Ramesh Taurani.

“Since Salman won’t have the time to look into the nitty-gritty of the distribution side, Salim saab is going to be involved on a day-to-day basis. The actor is also happy that his father will be overlooking things as the latter has had a vast experience in the film industry,” says the insider.

Salman’s production house is also producing Loveratri that introduces his brother-in-law, Aayush Sharma. “It’s too early to say if the company will distribute Loverateri as well. That call will be taken later, but as of now, it can be confirmed that Race 3 will mark Salman’s debut as a film distributor,” adds the insider.

Despite repeated attempts, Salman couldn’t be reached for a comment but his spokesperson confirmed the news, saying: “We are looking forward to this new journey. It’s too early to talk about all the details right now.”
