Meghan Markle, who marries Britain’s Prince Harry at Windsor, England in Saturday’s eagerly-awaited royal wedding, was in India in January 2017. The Suits actor and duchess-to-be visited a few NGOs in Delhi and Mumbai as a global ambassador for World Vision Canada.

On her maiden India trip, Meghan paid a special tribute to her host country with her outfit choice. Looking elegant and fresh in her desi avatar, Meghan wore a beautiful green-and-blue saree with golden motifs. She paired her handcrafted saree with a quarter-sleeve printed beige blouse. Meghan nailed the traditional Indian look, by completing her ensemble with matching blue and green bangles and a bindi.

Meghan was in India to raise awareness about young women’s health and hygiene. She was also spotted at Mumbai airport, casually clad in black skinny jeans and a tee. With her off-duty look, Meghan sported intricate mehendi on her right hand.

Meghan marries Prince Harry in an extravagant, but traditional ceremony on Saturday. The wedding hosts some 600 guests, including a flock of royalty, dignitaries, celebrities and socialites from around the world. Actor Priyanka Chopra is in England for her much-anticipated appearance at the royal wedding.

Priyanka was photographed arriving at London’s Heathrow Airport on Friday. She looked like the epitome of travel chic in a blue and green plaid pantsuit from Alberta Ferretti. She paired her separates with a low-key grey hoodie, pointy-toe denim pumps and narrow-framed sunglasses. Nothing says ‘Welcome to England’ like head-to-toe plaid, right?
