Keerthy suresh Feels Blessed To Play Savithri In Mahanati

Actress Keerthy Suresh is all set to step into the character of the legendary southern actress Savitri in her upcoming film Mahanati. The actress was recently seen in the Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyaathavaasi. Reports reveal that the actress was fascinated by playing the character in the film.

She has also described this opportunity as a blessing. The actress had earlier thought that the film might lead to controversies creating some trouble for her, but all went smoothly. Moreover, the story of the film revolves around the ups and downs of Savitri’s life and according to the Keerthy, Savitri's story is very intriguing.

Further, Keerthy revealed that to play Savitri during her young age, she had to lose weight to become suitable for playing the character onscreen. Meanwhile, along with Keerthy, the film also stars Dulquer Salmaan as Gemini Ganesan, Vijay Deverakonda as, Samantha and Prakash Raj in key roles in the flick.
