Elli AvrRam To Reprise Lisa Hayden’s Role In Queen Remake
The super success of Kangana Ranaut ’s Queen influenced south filmmakers so much that they decided to remake the film in all the four languages, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada, of south. Ever since the remake has been announced, speculations are rife about which actress would be reprising Kangana’s role. Now it has been finalised that Kajal Aggarwal , Tamannaah, Manjima Mohan and Parul Yadav will be reprising Kangana Ranaut’s role in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada versions respectively.
It was also reported that Amy Jackson was signed for an important role in all the four version of the film. However, the actress backed out of the project citing date issues. After Amy’s exit, the team was on a hunt for the actress who would be playing Lisa Hayden’s role.
And now after a long hunt, the makers have zeroed on in Elli AvrRam who would be reprising Lisa Hayden’s role in the Tamil and Kannada versions of Queen. Talking about bagging the role, Elli said, “I’m thrilled about making my debut in South India with Paris Paris and Butterfly (title of Tamil and Kannada remakes). I’ve a huge respect for the films made down south and I’m glad to be part of it. I love languages and I’m quite excited to rehearse my lines in Tamil and Kannada.” She will start shooting for the film from November. Actress and television host Shibani Dandekar will reprise Lisa’s role in Malayalam and Telugu versions of Queen.
