Golmaal Again Song: Maine Tujhko Dekha Will Make You Nostalgic And Remind You Of This 90's Hit
This Diwali is surely going to be full of laughter and explosions for cinema goers as the much awaited 4th film of Golmaal franchise will hit theatres on 20th October. Rohit Shetty is returning again to the director’s chair with the core cast of Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor. Joining the cast for the first time are Parineeti Chopra and Tabu.
Also returning would be the supporting actors usually seen in Rohit Shetty’s films. The trailer was released a few days back and promised doses of laughter and action. The new title track was also released a few days back and now, the makers have released a new song titled, Maine Tujhko Dekha picturized on Ajay & Parineeti and the other cast members.
Here’s our breakdown of the song:
A remake of Neend Churayi Meri- Few seconds into the song will make you realize that it’s an old wine in a new bottle. The song is a revamped version of Neend Churayi Meri from Ishq starring Ajay Devgn-Aamir Khan. Parineeti also tweeted saying that she never dreamed that she would be Dancing with Ajay on his own hit song.
The Location- The location where the song is filmed will transfer you back to Rohit Shetty’s 2013 Blockbuster Chennai Express. Shot in the picturesque Munnar, the lush green fields and mountains will remind you of Kashmir Main, Tu Kanyakumari.
Odd Couple- The film has Ajay Devgn and Parineeti Chopra starring opposite each other for the first time. At the time when makers are taking risks with subjects, they are also having new and odd pairings to pique the audience’s interests.
Neeraj Shridhar- The song is sung by Neeraj Shridhar who has a record of belting out numerous revamped hits of old Bollywood songs, be it Woh Chali Who Chali, Kya Soorat Hai etc.
Chaiyya Chaiyya- The song also has group dancing on the train with a number of background dancers, a la Chaiyya Chaiyya. The song features some great chemistry between the group and Arshad Warsi’s Madhav taking digs at the age gap between Ajay & Parineeti’s characters.
