TV Show Kavyanjali's Star Eijaz Khan Makes A Valid Comment On Current Day Relationships On Social Media

Actor Eijaz Khan, who made people laugh with his comic act as Jassi in the film Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and its sequel, is currently 42, single, and has pretty much given up on love. “I think more than that, love has given up on me! I just want to be happy. Once you cross 40, you are in a better position to reflect upon what’s right and wrong. You are not in a race to please anyone, and you realise which people matter to you the most. I won’t say you wise up completely, but you are more in touch with yourself. But I am not expecting anything to happen in the love area now.”

Eijaz was in a long relationship with Canadian singer Natalie Di Luccio, but the two split-up.

Eijaz also adds that relationships today are only about updating status and posting cute pictures on social media. “I feel that people don’t give respect to their relationships anymore, because they make it completely public and exploit it for likes on social networking sites. Thankfully, I come from a generation which didn’t have any mobile phones.” He is also upset by the invasion of technology in the lives of even children. “Even when I am out to take a walk on Carter Road, Mumbai, all I see is small kids hooked to their mobile phones, like zombies! My only advice to everyone is that please keep your phones aside and try to live your life instead.”
