Shailene Woodley Might Enter Politics Soon?
Shailene Woodley is one of the talented actresses in the Hollywood industry, who had been nominated for Emmy, in the best-supporting actress category for her performance. The actress said that she doesn’t prevent the idea of participating in politics, who calls herself a feminist. The actress entertained a career switch into politics in an interview recently.
The divergent actress said, “There was a point last year when I was working for Bernie Sanders where I thought, 'Huh, maybe I'll run for Congress in a couple years.' And you know what? I'm not going to rule it out. Who knows? Life is big, and I'm young”. The actress who was nominated for her character Jane Chapman in Big Little Lies said, "more softness, more silence and more pause" is needed in the midst of utter confusion about feminism at the moment.
The actress further said, “I would today consider myself a feminist. If females start working through the false narrative of jealousy and insecurity fed through a patriarchal society, then not only will we have more women feeling confident in themselves and supportive of one another, but we will start introducing a type of matriarchy, which is what this world needs”. At the work front, the actress was last seen in ‘Big Little Lies’.
