Everybody knows me in Hollywood: Anil Kapoor
He might soon clinch his fifth international project, The Indian Sherlock, and thats why actor Anil Kapoor, who has to his credit big ticket Hollywood projects such as Slumdog Millionaire, 24 and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, says that he no longer suffers from an identity crisis in the West.Everybody knows me in Hollywood - all the producers, directors and actors there know me. There is no identity crisis. They know that this guy is from Slumdog Millionaire, 24 (TV series), and he was also in Mission: Impossible 4. They are like my visiting cards there, says Kapoor. Kapoor, who will be next seen in the film, Cities, which also stars actor Clive Owen, is inundated with international offers. A lot of offers are coming my way. Now, I can sit back and choose what I want to do, says Kapoor, 55, adding, After Slumdog Millionaire, I was slightly apprehensive about whether I should do something there or not. But now, I dont have to worry about that. Even if I do a film after three years, they will still have a suitable role for me.However, his minuscule role in Mission: Impossible 4 was criticised by fans and critics alike. But Kapoor supports his decision to play the cameo. The respect for leading actors to do cameos and character roles is huge there. That helps me to play a lot of characters in Hollywood in a way that I cant do here, he says.
