Spidey Slinging High At The Box Office!
Good News for all the spidey fans, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is performing massively well at the box-office. Moreover, the sixth Spider-Man movie has made a staggering 120 million dollars opening and has achieved more than the projected expectations. This is the first movie of Tom Holland as the web slinger.
This movie will be Sony’s second-highest opening of all time, falling behind the 2007 movie Spider - Man 3, which made 151 million dollar debut. The movie revolves around young Peter Parker, who is amazed by the experience with Avengers and returns home to live with his Aunt May. With the help of his new mentor Tony Stark, Parker begins to embrace his newly discovered identity as ‘Spider-Man’.
The movie also stars Michael Keaton in the villainous role of ‘Vulture’. ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ was made on a budget of 175 million U.S. dollars and is bankrolled by Marvel Studios, Columbia Pictures and Pascal Pictures. The movie is helmed by Jon Watts and was released in India on July 7, 2017.
