This year was a good one, plot wise, with very interesting plots that glued us to our seats. Movies like Baahubali 2 or Raees is what made this year success so far. Movies like Irada or Ghazi Attack that didn’t gain much of the limelight but still gifted all the viewers with a beautiful plot. Then their were movies like Jolly LLB 2 that humoured all of us with the iconic performance of the one and only Akshay Kumar. Dramatic movies is quite a people pleaser in India owing to the very same fact March was a great month for the Indian Audience because of the release of Badrinath Ki Dhulania. Though this movie had a cliche and boring plot but it still managed to leave a mark on the box office due to its cliche yet people pleasing plot. Action is a very crucial part of Bollywood and half way through this year I must say that Bollywood has done a nice job by producing movies such as Commando and Naam Shabana which had power packed action and heart throbbing thrill chase.

The Bollywood year seems incomplete without a movie from Anurag Kashyap. As grateful I can be I would thank Mr. Kashyap for Trapped a delightful thrill that was just amazing.

Several movies like Noor added a little bump to the box office collection but weren’t as successful as they were marketed. Also actors like Raveena Tandon made a comeback into Bollywood though not a powerful one but still.

But this year was not all brilliant because movies like Jattu Engineer made it to the big screens dropping the average rating of good content provided by Bollywood.
To conclude this year so far was full of turmoils and had a lot of ups and downs. But we still have 5 months before we bid adieu to 2017 and we pray to Bollywood to shower some of their best work upon us.
