Allu Arjun’s 'DJ: Duvvada Jagannadam' released on June 23 and is doing an exceptional business at the box-office. The movie raked in Rs 100 crore in seven days at the worldwide box office even though it was released in less than 2000 screens across the globe. The movie didn’t benefit only its lead actors, but is also helping actor Rao Ramesh, who played a pivotal role in it.
If reports are to be believed, the actor is paid a lot of attention post the success of Duvvada Jagannadham and is flooded with offers. Talking about it, he said, “Recently, I was shooting in Araku and people were calling me Royyala Naidu, which shows how the character has stayed with the audience. It gave me a good name, but there is still a lot to do and achieve”.
Rao played the character of Royyala Naidu in DJ, which was originally played by his father Rao Gopala Rao in Aa Okkati Adakku. Talking about his upcoming projects, the actor is occupied with Pawan Kalyan-Trivikram, and Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva’s next. Six of his other films are also lined up.
