MOM Gets UA Certificate With No Cuts

Veteran actress Sridevi’s acting prowess is not unknown to any Bollywood fan. She is epitome of grace and beauty at the same time. The actress is all prepped up to show off her acting skills in her upcoming flick Mom and here’s a good news for all her fans who are waiting or her flick.

Mom has been granted a UA certificate. Yes, you heard that right! The flick got an UA rating without a single visual or audio cut. As per CBFC chairperson Pahlaj Nihalani, “Srideviji’s performance in Mom has the same impact as Nargisji in Mother India. They both define motherhood and the ingrained sacrifices that a mother makes for a child. I’d go as far as to say Mom is the contemporary Mother India. There will not be one dry eye in the theatres when the film opens”.

Nihalani further said that the film might be Sridevi’s career’s best performance as the female members of the Central Board Of Film Certification were in tears after watching the flick. The flick is slated for a release on July 7. Mom also features versatile actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna.
