Sanjay Dutt Wishes To Star Opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In 'Malang'

Debutant director Aarambhh Singh’s upcoming romantic thriller ‘Malang’ will star Sanjay Dutt as the male lead. According to recent reports, the Khalnayak actor has recommended the makers to rope in Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the leading lady of the flick. Dutt has earlier shared the screen space with the beautiful actress in Leena Yadav’s ‘Shabd’ (2005) and David Dhawan’s ‘Hum Kisise Kum Nahin’ (2002).

“Yes, Sanjay sir is keen on Aishwarya, we want to replicate their Shabd chemistry in our romantic-thriller”, the film helmer Aarambh stated, adding, “He plays an investigative officer and will require an actress who is physically fit as she is involved in the action too”. Aarambh added, “The idea is not only to keep the audience on the edge of their seats but also give them a new definition of love as Sanjay sir will be seen in a love story after a while”.

Well, it seems like Dutt’s role is going to be worth watching, especially if he pairs up with Aishwarya. On a related note, the film is expected to start rolling this December. The movie will be extensively shot in Varanasi and Shimla. The film will be produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Sandeep Singh, and Omung Kumar of Legend Studios.
