Ozark: Watch the creepy trailer for Netflix’s new thriller, starring Jason Bateman

Netflix has released the first teaser trailer for its new upcoming drama series, Ozark.

The series, both helmed by and starring US actor Jason Bateman, takes place in the Ozark mountains and explores the world of money laundering. Bateman plays a family man who serves as the top money launderer for the second largest drug cartel in Mexico (via Collider).

When things get complicated, Bateman’s character is forced to go into hiding, moving his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks - which is where the drama really begins.

Ozark, which is set to premiere on Netflix on July 21 also stars Laura Linney, Esai Morales, Julia Garner, Marc Menchaca, Jason Butler Harner and Harris Yulin.
