Vivian Dsena on fitness: I would rather play football than workout in the gym
Television actor Vivian Dsena is one of the fittest actors on the small screen. The 28-year-old, who is known for his shows such as Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon and Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, says that playing football is the reason that helps him stay in shape. “My fitness mantra is playing the game.I would rather play football than go to the gym. I hate working out. I prefer football any day over any other sport or going to the gym,” says Vivian.
Asked whether he plays cricket, he quips, “It is of no interest to me. Honestly, I have no affinity towards cricket, not even if I am getting paid!”
Vivian, who is part of a football team called All Star Football Club, a celebrity football club that raises funds for various charitable causes, says that he loves playing matches alongside other actors, as this is a great way to bond. “It is a good experience and we all get the chance to learn the game well. It has been two years now that we have been playing together. We practice at least four to five days a month, mostly on Sunday evenings. Everybody has very hectic schedules, including (actors) Ranbir Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan and the other stars. But it’s fun to play together,” adds Vivian.
