Diya Aur Baati Hum actor Deepika Singh blessed with boy, husband Rohit is ecstatic

Diya Aur Baati Hum actor Deepika Singh and her husband, director Rohit Raj Goyal, became proud parents to a baby boy on May 20 at 9pm. Confirming the news, a leading daily quoted Rohit as saying, “Both mother and baby are doing fine. We are thrilled and cannot express our happiness. Deepika has been asked to rest for now and I think she needs it the most as she been so strong throughout.”

Deepika’s publicist added, “Deepika is ecstatic though very tired and is in the hospital for a day or two. Rohit is by Deepika’s side and hasn’t left her alone at all. The little one has sure brought a lot of joy in their lives and the families.”

Deepika and Rohit got married in May 2014 and on their third wedding anniversary on May 2, 2017, Deepika shared an adorable picture with husband Rohit, from her maternity photoshoot. “You are the wings to my Dreams. Since then, she has been posting several pictures on Instagram throughout her pregnancy.

Having played the character of IPS officer Sandhya Rathi, in the show for five long years, Deepika took a break after the show wrapped up in September 2016. She later got busy shooting for a web series, Real Soulmate, which was being directed by her husband.
