The Fire Sermon’s film adaptation to follow Hunger Games’ footsteps?

With the huge world-wide success of the Hunger Games movies, it seems there is anotheryoung-adult trilogy movie messiah in the queue to turn up very soon. We are talking about the movie franchise of The Fire Sermon, a post-apocalyptic series which has not even published its first instalment yet.

Though it is too early to predict anything as Hunger Games movies will be raining in through 2015. In the meantime, DreamWorks has acquired the theatrical rights of The Fire Sermon, which is based on a technology-less society thronged by twins. "One of each pair is physically perfect, and they are called Alphas, while the other, the Omega, bears some mutation. The apartheid society forces the mutated twins to settlements, even though when one twin dies, so does the other." It hints at a world which would bring out our next Katniss and Peeta/Ron and Hermione/Edward and Bella.The yet-to-be-acknowledged author of the series,Francesca Haig, seems to have begun on a high note and our best wishes are with the emerging expected bestselling author.
