Sanjeeda Sheikh bagged Love Ka Hai Intezaar for a quarter of Shamita Shetty’s price?

Actor Shamita Shetty, who is gearing up for her web series to be directed by Suparn Verma, has been in the news lately for failing an audition for the lead role of television show Love Ka Hai Intezaar. However sources close to the actor have refuted the reports adding that Shamita was being offered less than the amount that she usually charges, which is why she didn’t take up the project.

“When Shamita is getting paid double of what was being offered to her, for her forthcoming web series, why will she settle for an amount lesser than her marker price? They have signed Sanjeeda Sheikh for the show for a quarter of Shamita’s price,” says a source, close to Shamita.

The source adds that she chose Suparn’s series as she felt that the content was better. “The new series she’s doing with Suparn is much stronger and a better script. It’s a much bigger show and she has also be offered a good amount,” says our source.

The channel’s version is that Shamita was approached for the show by producer Siddharth Malhotra to play the role of Bollywood superstar Kamini Mathur on the show. However, she failed the audition and the role was bagged by Sanjeeda Sheikh.
