Suriya Launches Krishnan-Panchu's Documentary

Singam star came in with his dad Sivakumar to launch the documentary on famous writer-director-producer-editor pair of Indian cinema, Krishnan-Panchu. It has been titled, The Pioneering Duo, and was unveiled in the presence of several Kollywood personalities. The list includes Bhagyaraj, Vikraman, Sasi, P. Vasu, M.N. Rajam and many others.

The four-time national awards winners worked together in over 56 flicks and in several languages. Their work comprised for MGR, SSR, Bhanumathy, Sharada, MR Radha, Nagesh, Sivakumar etc. On the occasion, Suriya said, “I have been to several countries and visited places where cinema is being produced. After watching the body of work of Krishnan– Panchu through this documentary, I ask myself ‘what have I achieved so far?’”.

Presently, Suriya is filming for his two upcoming flicks, Thaana Serndha Kootam, which is an action thriller, and where Magalir Mattum is complete drama. Interestingly, the documentary was directed by G. Dhananjayan, the one who bought the Best Critic Award at the National Film Awards, recently.
