Adele thanks her 'husband' at Grammys, is she married to Simon Konecki?

Congratulations are in order for Adele — and not just because she picked up a whopping five gongs at the Grammys 2017.

The Hello singer has allegedly confirmed that she is secretly married to her longtime partner Simon Konecki.

While accepting her award for Album of the Year at the star-studded ceremony on Monday, Adele gave an acceptance speech that didn’t go unnoticed as she praised Beyoncé so highly that the Lemonade singer couldn’t help but get emotional.

She then went on to thank her family, and said, “Grammys, I appreciate it, the Academy, I love you, my manager, my husband and my son — you’re the only reason I do it.”

Despite referring to Konecki as her ‘partner’ while answering questions from reporters in the backstage pressroom, many have taken her slip-of-the-tongue to mean that the London-born singer has in fact already married Konecki in a private ceremony.

Adele has always tried to keep her private life out of the public eye, but the couple got the rumour mill churning earlier in January, when she was spotted wearing a ring on her wedding finger.

The couple, who is parents to four-year-old Angelo, has always tried to keep their relationship out of the spotlight, which may explain why they had kept it under wraps.
