Ayan Mukerji Roped In This Actor For His Next!

Director Ayan Mukerji was rumoured to do a superhero flick with his friend Ranbir Kapoor. However, Ayan has refuted these rumours. Touted to be titled as ‘Dragon’, the film was being regarded as the remake of Hollywood superhero comedy, ‘Deadpool’.

Disapproving all previous reports, Ayan divulged, “A lot of people have been saying that it is a superhero film. But it’s not. It’s in fact, a modern-day romantic fantasy.” Moreover, this film will feature Alia Bhatt as the female lead.

Mukerji said that the upcoming film will hit the floors in August, once Kapoor finishes the Sanjay Dutt biopic. “Ranbir won’t do this film and Dutt simultaneously. He has already begun shooting for Dutt and it should be done by August. That’s when I will start with him and Alia Bhatt.”

Ayan disclosed these informations while speaking at the premiere of Oscar-nominated film, ‘Lion’. Moreover, Ayan is planning to release the trailer of ‘Dragon’ in MAMI next year and he says, “I would love too, let’s see.”
