Shakun Batra’s Next Bringing Together Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt?

If rumors are to be believed, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt might be coming together once again, for Shakun Batra’s next. According to the buzz in B-town, both Sidharth and Alia met Shakun regarding the script and liked it. The duo has previously worked with the director in ‘Kapoor and Sons’.

“Alia and Sid met Shakun and heard the script right after they returned from their Amsterdam trip. They liked the concept and seemed excited to work with Shakun again. Though they haven’t signed on the dotted line yet, they have given their nod verbally”, as reported by a leading daily. A source also stated that it will be a “breezy film which will not require more than 40 days of shoot”.

Previous reports stated that Sidharth and Alia will be coming together for Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Aashiqui 3’ but, there has been no update on the project. This came as disappointing news for the fans who wanted to see the couple’s on screen chemistry once again. So, if the rumors of Shakun’s next develop into reality, the fans will be extremely happy.
