Anushka Shetty to act with Baba Sehgal in Rudrama Devi

The first Indian rapper and a very popular name in the mid-90s, Baba Sehgal is all set to turn actor for the first time in his life. It has been reported that he will be debuting in Anushka Shetty starrerRudrama Devi. In the movie Anushka is playing the lead role as Rani Rudrama Devi and Rana Daggubati will be seen as Prince Chalukya Veerabhadra.

Sehgal tweeted in confirmation,"I am honoured to be a part of Mr Gunasekhar's big Telugu film Rudhramadevi. Shooting starting soon, costume rehearsal,” who has been roped in for the film bydirector Gunasekhar. It seems from the looks that he has been signed up to play a negative character in the film.

It will bethe first 3D historical film being released in multilingual versions. Gunasekhar is producing and directing this historical movie while maestro Ilaiyaraaja is composing the music for the film.
