Tamannaah To Play Lead In Pelli Choopulu Remake

Widely acknowledged for her great looks, actress Tammannah has proven her acting prowess in not much time. So much so that she is currently flooded with offers and several movies in pipeline. The latest we hear is that the The Kaththi Sandai actress has now signed up for the Tamil remake of Pelli Choopulu. This Telugu superhit romantic comedy was directed by the duo of Tharun Bhascker and Dhaassyam.

Interestingly, she would be playing the lead role in the remake of Kangna Ranaut starrer Queen as well. Coming back to Pelli Choopulu remake, the project will be bankrolled by Gautham Menon. An update on the movie emphasize that the project will be helmed by producer Senthil Veerasamy. Furthermore, Senthil Veerasamy, will be trying his hands at acting with Gautham Menon’s Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta starring Dhanush and Megha Akash.

Actress Tamannaah has confirmed her participation in the venture, “Yes, I am doing the Tamil remake and I am excited to be a part of it.” The team is going through a pre-production stage and are close on signing lead actors for this flick.
