Sundeep Kishan - A new Salman Khan in making?

Sundeep ‘Chinna’ Kishan ofPrasthanamfame is geared up to don a new avatar on the big screens. The film industry is going abuzz with the news that Sundeep is all set to play Salman Khan’s ‘Chulbul Pandey’ styled cop in his forthcoming flickDK Bose.

Sundeep, who also characterised ‘Sawan’ in Bollywood movieShor in the City, laughed at the comparisons, "Let's just say it is a first-of-its-kind fun role in Telugu cinema. It's a typically massy role, but I tried to underplay it. I've tried something out-of-box yet again, and will wait and see how the audience reacts to it.” He added more, "It's a proper commercial film, but we chose a quirky premise for the movie. This is the first time I am playing a cop and I tried to get into the skin of the character. The whacky humor is going to be the USP of the movie.”

Nisha Aggarwal, sister of Kajal Aggarwal, is playing the female lead in the movie, which is being jointly produced by Anand Ranga and Seshu Reddy. It will be a directorial venture by debutant N. Bose and the movie will be set in the small town of Pileru. The film's first look will be launched by tennis star Sania Mirza from Miami through video-conferencing, and will hit screens sometime in April.
