Here's Why Geeta Phogat Declined Aamir Khan's Wedding Gift!

Wait wait, before you think about anything else, here's the real story. 

Geeta Phogat, who brought laurels to India in the last Commonwealth games as a winning female wrestler, got married on 20th November with blessings from the entire country. If you don't know who she is, she is also the daughter of Mahavir Singh well-knowne well known wrestler, awarded with Dronacharya Award who raised his daughters Geeta and Babita as female wrestlers, much to the amusement of people around as it is considered to be a men-dominated sport. 

Aamir Khan and Nitesh Tiwari are bringing his story to life in 'Dangal' film which is all set to release on 23rd December. So at Geeta's wedding, Aamir Khan also paid a visit to congratulate the bride and the entire family. It was there when a journo asked him that what happened to the  wedding trousseau he was planning to gift the bride. Aamir told that he was all set to gift the same, but he got to know that according to tradition in the Phogat family, bride's Mama (maternal Uncle) is supposed to gift the wedding trousseau. So respecting that tradition, he chose to gift somehting else as the token of love and appreciation to the bride, Geeta.
