'Om Shanti Om' To Be Transformed Into Japanese Musical
'Om Shanti Om' was released back in 2007 and marked the debut of now Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone. The actress had a grand welcome to the industry as she shared screen space with none other than the King himself, Shah Rukh Khan. Farah Khan was at the helm of affairs for the project and is now celebrating nine years since its release.
She expressed her excitement and also shared some great news on Twitter. Farah revealed that ‘Om Shanti Om’ is being transformed into a Japanese musical. She posted, “Maybe a good day to announce on #9YearsOfOmShantiOm that it's being made into a huge musical in japan!@iamsrk @deepikapadukone @rampalarjun”.
The movie was quite successful at the box office when it came out. It also starred Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade and Yuvika Chaudhary. The title track, ‘Deewangi’, featured 31 celebrities including Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Govinda, Jeetendra, Priyanka Chopra and others.
