Anurag Basu To Reunite With Ranbir Kapoor But There’s A Twist

Anurag Basu is known for being one of the most talented directors in Bollywood and actor Ranbir Kapoor is praised for his versatility in performance (along with being an actor from the Kapoor clan with appealing eyes and hot looks). When the two blend, we can surely expect a blockbuster. The duo had already collaborated for ‘Barfi!’ in 2012 and is all set to entertain their fans with their upcoming movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which is expected for a 2017 release. We all know that Ranbir Kapoor is also turning producer with ‘Jagga Jasoos’. The latest update is that he will don the producer’s hat once again for Anurag’s sequel of ‘Life In A... Metro’, about which he announced recently. Touching up on the same, Anurag stated, “Ranbir is teaming up with me as a producer. Though I may want him to play a pivotal role in the film, I don't know whether he would be interested. He will always have the first right of refusal”.

Revealing whether Irrfan Khan will be a part of the sequel, the Kites director said, “Irrfan is committed to the sequel. We haven't worked together in years. In the last four-five years, we almost teamed up on two films, but they didn't work out. So this time, we're on”.
