Nikesha Patel To Play Lead In Remake Of ‘100 Degree Celsius’
The Telugu-Tamil remake of a 2014 Malayalam film is on the cards. Mithraj Jawahar is helming the remake of women-centric thriller titled ‘100 Degree Celsius’. As per the recent reports, Nikesha Patel has been roped in to play the female lead in the film.
A source informed that, “The Tamil-Telugu bilingual has four female leads and Nikesha is one of them. Raai Laxmi has also been okayed for a role and final discussions are on.” The source further added, “A search is on for the rest of the cast.” Reportedly, the film explores the lives of five friends, professionally and even in terms of their relationships.
The British Indian model turned actress, Nikesha Patel, made her big screen debut with a Telugu film ‘Puli’. In fact, she was a finalist in the 2006 Miss Wales beauty pageant. Nikesha is a polyglot and has worked in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films and has also been a part of BBC TV shows like Casualty, Tracy Beaker and Doctor Who.
