    It goes without saying that Swara Bhaskar is one of the most promising actresses in Bollywood. The Aurangzeb star shot to fame after she played Payal, Kangana Ranaut’s friend in Anand L. Rai’s ‘Tanu Weds Manu’. Not many might know that the much acclaimed actress was once told that she is not an 'actress material'.

    “I think all actresses feel the pressure of looking good”, Swara told IANS, adding “Not only actresses... I feel all women in general feel this pressure. As compared to men, women are more judged on the basis of their looks”.

    The Nil Battey Sannata actress went on to say, “I remember the first year when I came to Mumbai. There were directors who actually said to me that, ‘You are not actress material. You are not heroine material’. I remember other people, who said, ‘You are too intelligent looking’”.

    The actress further shared that she was once asked by a reporter that how she feels about not being that good looking. To this, Swara had replied, “As long as you love your own face, it doesn't matter".

    On the professional front, the actress will next be seen in ‘It's Not That Simple’, a 6-episode web series about love, relationships and marriage.
