Rajinikanth’s ‘Baashha’ To Be Released Again
There was a huge craze across the country for Rajinikanth’s last offering ‘Kabali’. The film may have failed to live up to the expectations of the fans, but the fans still praised their idol for his stupendous acting in the movie. All his fans will be excited to know that they will again get to see the superstar on the big screen again, and that too before the release of ‘2.0’.
According to reports, one of the most iconic films of thalaivar ‘Baashha’ will be released again for the fans after 21 years. The makers are planning to release the digitized version of the hit 1995 flick. Rajinikanth fans are excited to relive the story of auto driver Manikam.
Producer R. M. Veerappan’s son-in-law T. G. Thiyagarajan confirmed the news to a leading daily. He said, "We are in the process of re-releasing 'Baasha' in the digital format. The negatives had been restored when the Hindi dubbed version was released earlier. Now, the mastering of songs by Deva is complete with DTS, and the re-recording in 5.1 surround sound and other digitisation is underway". He added that the release date and other important dates will soon be announced by Veerappan.
