New Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer To Premier On Thursday

On Thursday, during NBC’s coverage of the Rio Olympics, Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm will showcase the new trailer for ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’. The first teaser that released a while back got the fans quite excited for the film. The movie is being directed by Gareth Edwards.

Rogue One stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso and Mads Mikklesen, who plays the role of her father, Galen Erso. The movie tells the story of resistance fighters who get together and strategise to steal the plans for the Death Star. Ben Mendelsohn will be playing the role of the main antagonist in the film.

The cast for Rogue One also includes Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Jiang Wen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed and Forest Whitaker. The movie will be released on December 16. It’s a great time for Star Wars fans as there will be a new Star Wars film every year till 2020, at least that’s what the plan states for now.
