Nani Will Play Other Version Of ‘Majnu’

Changing the face of cliché ‘Majnu’, this time he will be a happy guy. There will be no signs of heartaches on the face of the character this time. This is what 'Devadasu Pun' first look poster depicts at least.  

"We wanted to break the stereotype of a tragic heartbroken lover that the word Majnu has come to represent. I play a happy Majnu who refuses to become sad. That's what we tried to convey," elaborated Nani. He further added "Director Virinchi's stories have innocence about them and that's what struck a chord with me. It's a sweet, clean, slice of life love story that has a universal appeal and will resonate with everyone”.

Talking more about his character, Nani said that he will play a young assistant director in the film and will don two different looks. This romantic comedy flick has two lead actresses in Anu Emmanuel and Priya Shri with lot of promise from lead star who is on a roll after multiple hits.
