Arjun Kapoor Wishes To Achieve More In Bollywood Before Heading Toward Hollywood
Where many Bollywood stars wait for opportunities from the West, Arjun Kapoor seems to have different thoughts. Though, the 2 States actor has won several hearts with his pleasant on-screen appearance and handsome sharp looks, he feels that he still needs to establish himself more in Bollywood before trying a hand in Hollywood. Recently, the 31-year-old actor told PTI that he is trying to build a fan base of his own in India.
“Right now, I am trying to build my audience here. As an actor, you need to be in a secure place to move bags there. I feel I have to achieve a lot here”, Arjun stated, adding, “I don't think it's about heroes and heroines, it's about what you feel like doing. There are people who get happiness by being here in India”.
Talking about a desire to work in another film industry, the Tevar actor said, “The desire has to be there. I don't know if I have the desire still or not (for going to the West) as I am still new here, I am discovering myself here. I am very new, I have done seven films”.
Arjun has also ventured into the field of voice-overs and lent his voice for the character of Buck in the Hindi version of Mike Thurmeier’s American computer-animated family adventure, 'Ice Age: Collision Course', which is the fifth instalment in the Ice Age film series.
