Melissa McCarthy Talks About Her Ghostbusting Experience
Paul Feig’s ‘Ghostbusters’ is a new version of the original 1984 film, with an all female lead cast. The original film had Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis while the upcoming ‘Ghostbusters’ stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Recently, Melissa shared her experience working for the film and stated that it was a “little creepy”.
Talking about the people who were dressed as ghosts in the film, the 45-year-old actress shared, “I have talked to so many people about it and they are like 'Oh, what was the tennis ball like?' And I am like 'No, there was, like the ghosts in the subway in the beginning, he went through six, seven, eight hours of prosthetics and it was someone named Dave, I have known Dave for years. I was in there talking to, like I was in there watching him”.
She added, “But, so when we were acting, Paul was so great that he really put people in there that were fully dressed, with make-up, prosthetics... It was a little creepy”. ‘Ghostbusters’ will hit the screens on July 29. The movie, directed by Feig, has been produced by Ivan Reitman and Amy Pascal.
