Makarand Deshpande Plays Veteran Bike Racer Next

With his Lijo Jose Pellissery's Amen, Makarand Deshpande has been popular among Malayalam fans. He appeared in latest flick two countries starring Dileep and is now set to portray an interesting character in Team 5, which will be controversial cricketer Sreesanth’s debut flick.

Director Suresh Govind revealed a bit about Makarand role, "In the film, Makarand essays the character of Salim Bhai, an old-timer in the racing circuit, who was very much active in the 80s and 90s. He is a mentor to Sreesanth and his bikers' gang, like a big brother. Though older, he is quite cool and gets along well with the youngsters."

Talking about his biking experience as a young bloke, Makarand revealed that he used to ride bike quite fast. However, after sometime his mother wouldn’t allow letting him take bike out. On a lighter side Makarand said that he is now getting compensated. He further said that the Team 5 will have interesting sequences and he loved the mean machines.
