Jackie Shroff Bagged C.V. Kumar’s 'Mayavan' Through Thiagarajan
A couple of months back it was announced that Jackie Shroff will be seen playing the role of the baddie in C.V. Kumar’s 'Mayavan'. The actor is quite pumped up about his role in the film. During a recent interview he revealed that his character will be unique and will have a lovely shade of grey.
The Kochadaiiyaan actor will be playing the role of an army man in the science fiction flick. He was recommended for this film by director Thiagarajan, who has worked with him in ‘Aaranya Kaandam’. He said, "The makers reached out to me through him, and I took it up because my director had recommended me".
The film will be the directorial debut of the veteran producer C.V. Kumar who has bankrolled many hit ventures over the years. Sundeep Kishan will be playing the lead in the movie and Lavanya Tripathi will be seen romancing the actor. Ghibran will score the music for the film which has been scripted by Nalan Kumarasamy.
