Kavalai Vendam Shoot Is Back On Track

Deekay’s Kavalai Vendam is back on floors in Kotagiri. The flick which was on a break for four months has begin on June 21, with a star studded cast of Jiiva, Kajal Aggarwal, Bobby Simhaa and Sunainaa. In the current leg of shooting, the team is canning a song sequence with the actors.  

A source close to the unit said, “The initial shooting schedule with the lead cast was in January in Kotagiri. We also shot for a couple of weeks. Then, in between, we had put the shoot on hold due to elections. Also, as it is a multi-starrer, it took time to bring all the actors back together under one roof”.

He added that the dates have been finalised for the rest of the shooting. The next leg will be shot in Chennai after concluding from Kotagiri. The source interestingly mentioned that after wrapping up the shoot, the team sits together and tries difference recipes and ‘cook, eat and chill’.
