I Am confident To Carry A Film On My Own Shoulders, Says Varun Dhawan
Seems like actor Varun Dhawan has seriously taken the popular cliché ‘People learn from their mistakes’ after the debacle of ‘Dilwale’ at the box office. According to a recent report, the actor has decided not to sign multiple-hero projects in the future as ‘he has the confidence to carry a film on his own shoulders’. The report added that Varun’s experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan is also not ‘satisfying’.
SKJ Bollywood News quoted a source as saying, “Varun feels he has the confidence to carry a film on his own shoulders. Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, Badlapur and ABCD 2 were hits without another hero to support Varun”. The source added, “He was most excited about ‘Dilwale’. He got a chance to work with one of his childhood idols. But the experience was far from satisfying. Now Varun won't do multiple-hero films at all”.
Also, the actor forayed into acting with ‘Student of the Year’ which was a two-hero project starring Sidharth Malhotra. Varun’s upcoming film ‘Dishoom’ is also a multi-starrer project, which features John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Akshaye Khanna apart from the Main Tera Hero actor. Desimartini wishes that Dishoom’s success compels Varun to roll back his decision.
