Shraddha Replaces Sonakshi In Haseena Parkar’s Biopic?

Tinsel town was abuzz with rumours that Sonakshi Sinha will reportedly play the lead role in forthcoming Haseena Parkar’s biopic. However, the actress has recently walked out of the project citing date issues. Now grapevine suggests that Shraddha Kapoor has bagged the role of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister, replacing the Sinha daughter. 

If the rumours are true and Sharddha has bagged the role, she will be seen playing a 60-year-old woman in the flick. However, an official announcement about the same is awaited. The film is being helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, who has directed films like Mission Istaanbul, Shootout at Lokhandwala and Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost amongst others.

Sonakshi had never confirmed that she was a part of the project. In January, the actress was quoted as saying, “We are just in talks for it. Till I sign on the dotted line I would prefer not to talk about it”. However, she was excited to have been approached for the film. “I felt good that the makers felt I could carry off such a powerful role. I am surprised because of the content as I have never done that before”, she had said.
