First TV Spot For Central Intelligence Released
The upcoming action comedy, ‘Central Intelligence', starring Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart has got its first TV spot. The movie brings together Bob (Dwayne) and Calvin (Kevin) who went to high school together. Bob was a dorky, chubby kid while Calvin was the “big man on campus” but, after 20 years, a lot has changed.
Earlier this year, Dwayne shared some details about his character in the film through an Instagram post which read, “The inspiration behind this character ‘Bob’ has always been Tom Hanks in ‘Big’ with an added twist. He’s a grown man who’s extremely childlike and views the world thru exuberant and enthusiastic teenage eyes… Loves to wear his favorite Public Enemy shirt, cargo pants and sneakers to work.. and rocks a fanny pack which holds his Bruce Lee quotes and a condom (he’s always prepared). The ‘added twist’ is Bob has an extremely high IQ and is one of the most lethal men on the planet as a C.I.A. contract killer. Oh the most important character trait.. He hates bullies. Can’t wait for y’all to meet ‘Bob’”.
Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, ‘Central Intelligence’ will be released on June 17. Along with Dwayne and Kevin, the cast includes Amy Ryan, Danielle Nicolet, Bobby Brown and Ed Helms. The movie is produced by Peter Principato, Paul Young and Scott Stuber.
