Pulkit Samrat Has To Lose 10 kgs For His Next

There was a lot of hard work that went into Pulkit Samrat’s impressive muscular physique in his last film, Sanam Re. He will maintain the same look for his upcoming movie as well. However, we have learnt that, for a third film — the sequel to Fukrey (2013) — the actor will lose a lot of his muscle to get a leaner body.

A source says, “Pulkit is all set to shed the muscle weight he had gained for his previous films. His new look will be closer to the leaner avatar he had in Fukrey. Currently, he weighs around 71kg, and will lose nearly 10kg now.”

The insider adds that the actor will be seen playing a college student in the film, and he has already started planning his fitness routine for the same. “He is very excited about the movie. In fact, Pulkit, and the entire cast of the film, have kept in touch all this while; they also catch up frequently,” says the source.

Pulkit confirms the development, saying, “I will start working towards getting a leaner look soon. There will be a lot of changes in my diet and my workout regimen. But, till my second movie releases, I will have to maintain my current physique, because my character requires me to look bulked up.”
