Vimal’s ‘Mapla Singam’ To Lock Horns With Vijay Sethupathi’s ‘Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum’

Vimal’s much awaited film ‘Mapla Singam’ has faced repeated postponements. The film was supposed to hit the theater screens last year in September, but it got delayed several times and is yet to be released. The release date of the film has finally been decided.

According to reports, the Rajasekhar directorial will hit the screens on March 11. The film will clash at the box office with Vijay Sethupathi’s film with director Nalan Kumarasamy, ‘Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum’. Vijay Sethupathi certainly has edge over Vimal, as his last film ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ turned out to be a great hit and since then the actor has been signing many movies and the audiences are also excited to watch his upcoming films.

On the other hand, ‘Mapla Singam’ has a prominent cast which includes Soori, Radharavi, Kaali Venkat, Madhumitha, Ramdoss, Singampuli, Mayilsamy and Manobala. Vimal would be hoping that the film gets a good response from the audiences as his last venture ‘Anjala’ did an average business at the box office. The clash between both the films will be great to watch.
